Does Latisse work?
The answer is YES! Latisse is the only FDA-approved prescription medication for growing longer, thicker, & darker lashes. Clinical trials as well as my years of clinical experience have shown the vast majority of clients are very pleased with their results.
Here are a few tips for getting the best results:
1. Be patient: You will not see results overnight. Results are generally not seen until about 4 weeks of use, with the greatest effects seen at approximately 16 weeks of use. If you stop using the product, your eyelashes will gradually return to their pre-treatment state. Be patient - it will be worth it!
2. Use it daily: While it may be tempting to skip days in an attempt to stretch a bottle, you simply will not achieve your best possible results. My suggestion is to use the product daily for the 16 weeks. Then, you can play around with using the product less often. For example, through trial & error, I've learned that my eyelashes will eventually get too long - leaving mascara beneath my brow & my lashes smooshed against my glasses. Now, I only use it a few times per week.
3. Realistic expectations: With anything, it is imperative to have realistic expectations & to remember that results may vary. In my years of experience, clients who use the product as directed have seen results - longer, thicker lashes in particular. However, I'd venture to say that most women's lashes do not darken enough to completely forgo mascara (especially for those of us who like very dark lashes).
